Picked this one up recently and almost as soon as I did it was being sold again to a new owner. Just thought Id share some pictures of it with the group as it was truly a beautiful example that exceeded the condition of any I have seen before. All original from the original owner, on the original rivet bracelet. Was a 5.1 serial with a Mark 2 dial! Truly an unusual and special example. Enjoy some pictures :) I knew I would miss this one as soon as it left me. Hope its new owner is loving it!

What a beauty! I've had a few where they come in, flip quick, only to look back a few weeks later in tears. O well as long as you are both happy then I'm happy for you! Thanks for sharing

My feelings exactly!! This one truly stood alone in its condition. Totally untouched over the years. Still had sharp bevels on the lugs. Getting very rare these days!

A stunning example. I could not have parted with that one it was a keeper. Lovely patina and the case is almost to good to be true. Was the provenance good ?

I miss it now! And it was truly nearly perfect. One owner watch and had never been serviced until I got it. Nearly unworn.

Superb example of the GMT - not too much patina on the dial (I don't like patina), crisp and bright bezel insert, and the bracelet looks to be in great shape. I prefer the GMT II myself, but I realize I'm in the minority because I don't appreciate vintage watches like most folks do on this forum. None the less, that's a stunner I'd be proud to wear!
