Who doesn't love a Military Submariner? I sure do!

Here's my Rolex Reference 5513, "Military" Submariner circa 1974. Full spec.

Why is the word military in inverted commas?
Is it not really a military watch?
Because that is what the commas are saying.
I've got an 0552 5513 myself but no pics right now.

    When I grow up.

I am acquainted with a fellow, formerly of SBS, said the guys loved them as watches but wish they knew the value they would have one day and more would have been, umm, lost.
