Who can service an IWC? I don't own one now, but I am looking at some of the eye candy for sale. Would they have to go back to IWC in Switzerland, who'd charge a bunch and swap out parts because they show a little wear? I'm in Seattle.

There is a Richemont Technical Center in Ft. Worth where IWC is serviced. I've had two IWCs serviced there and have zero complaints. They did an excellent job and you can communicate with the IWC Concierge in NYC who can update you on the progress.

I had archer service my IWC. The service for a vintage or modern? If modern I would send to IWC but if vintage I would use a good watchmaker that way they don’t change the dial etc.
