I’m wondering if people have views on the ongoing omega servicing costs for a Chrono vs a non Chrono. I understand that a Seamaster non Chrono would be looking at AUD800 vs AUD1100 for a speedy Chrono. And also the speedy may need more regular servicing given its a more complicated piece (say 2/3yrs vs 4/5yrs). Appreciate any views thanks.
There's no reason to think that a chronograph would need more frequent servicing then a non-chronograph...service intervals would be the same. Cheers, Al
But Al, would it be prudent to have a Speedmaster chronograph, the watch God wears, serviced more frequently? I mean, the OP went out of their way to tell us he's talking about a Speedmaster and not some garden variety, run of the mill, blasé chronograph that some proletarian would wear.
