Thinking of picking up a Longines with a caliber 430. I read somewhere that these have sealed main spring barrels that are difficult to source replacements for and are nigh impossible to repair. Does anyone have any experience servicing these hi beats movements?

Also, the piece might need a new winding stem. Are these generic and relatively easy to find replacements or are they highly caliber specific and a nightmare to find?
