I have an '85 Speedmaster that was serviced by Omega in late 2012/early 2013. I recently had the movement photographed, and the watchmaker (Level 5?) who took it apart said that the watch needed servicing, and that there were some parts that were worn to the point that the watch would only run for "another year".

How often do forum members have their watches serviced? This is the watch I wear basically every day.
