I need service recommendation for my recently aquired 166-072 Memomatic. Watch in outstanding condition but is in need of servicing to replace gaskets and alarm set button (puller). I have a replacement puller. Unfortunately I had to bring the watch to the local OMEGA Boutique to get it dried out as it got moisture in it due to all the hand washing because of the pandemic. Watch currently riding out the virus in quarantine in the boutique's safe. I do not want to send it to Omega, where they will charge an arm and leg and replace everything and polish it. Local watchmakers -- I either don't trust them to service it, or they don't trust themselves to do it. Any suggestions? - Paul upload_2020-4-12_18-14-29.jpeg

it would help if you said where you are, so people could make recommendations.

Joe, good point, thank you. I am in San Diego, Ca. But will send it to the right place if I can’t find the somebody local.

    Nice example

the lume plots on these grey dials age really nicely imo - mine says hello! B5020224-ACC1-4040-8494-6FB811EB60AC.png

Tom, thanks for rec. I was just looking at them online. Have you had any work done by them?

Sherbie agree about the lume plots. The dial on these watches just pop. A fun watch! Currently in my opinion — a sleeper/under valued!
