So this is my recently acquired Speedy Pro, SN is 4839xxxx which places it in 1998 I think. It has a SL dial and hands which in 1998 I thought should be tritium.... so am I looking at a service dial/hands or was this just one of the first ones off the line with the new SL stuff? No, the tritium switchover was in 1997. Your bezel is the one used between 1997-2004, and so that's in keeping with a 1998 estimate.
