    Hi OF,

I always thought that UG only stamped the serial numbers and case ref inside the caseback up until 1938, but I've found this one dated back to 1945-1946.

This has probably been discussed somewhere in this forum. But I was just wondering if there's anything wrong with this caseback?

Nothing wrong that I can see. UG simply refused to be bound by petty notions of consistency.

I've actually just gotten this watch opened and it's got some engraved numbers on the back of the dial which normally suggest the number of the dye on a redial.

Can anyone comment on the dial?

Numbers on the back of a dial are either common or supposed to be there, imo.
