    I am trying to make a very big (non watch related) purchase and if it happens I am going to need to sell a lot of watches. I have never been a big seller and haven't really thought much about the potential mechanics. I am not likely to go to the auction houses due to the timing issues and fees and delays, so that leaves sales boards (preferred), selling to a dealer (not a good way to maximize results) and the 'bay (don't love it), ignoring personal dealings. This board only allows one sales post per day, so it would be very difficult to try to sell a lot of watches in a short time frame. Other boards are similar. Ideas? Thanks all.

    I would think the whole alphabet would sell for higher than just the letter Q.

    Talk to the site owners/moderators... make a proposal, all they can say is no and you haven't lost anything. Sorry to hear you are selling, but it sounds like its a decision you made and were not forced into, so that's good. However it works out, best of luck to you.

    If it takes a long time to sell a watch on here, the price is wrong. Adjust accordingly and I have no doubt that your stuff will move quickly... Otherwise I guess you could ask permission to post in the dealers' section?

    I'm sure the mods will let you post more if you talk to them. Better to sell here and let other members have a go at them first. ;)

    How many are we talking? And are they similar enough to group in one thread?

    Maybe 25 or 30. Mostly vintage divers and chronos. If I need to go that direction, it would be a long thread to post them all and info and 3 pix for each. Thanks all.

    What if you post some pictures perhaps catogiresed by type or make and then if people are interested then they can contact you and get the relevant info and price. If you have an omega LED watch for sale
    let me know :)

    25 watches = 25 days.

    As has been said priced correctly they will sell in a day or two.

    I would say your biggest issues will be collections and deliveries. You will discover that although the auction houses are a challenge, they do deliver the items and collect the money.

    Oh and standby for a tax audit .....however you sell them.

    Twenty five transactions suddenly headed through PayPal will raise a flag somewhere.

    Sorry to piss on the fire, but it's a brave new world.

    No need to worry about an audit. I'll buy them all for cash. Top dollar!

    The one thing in that currency's favour is that its so ridiculous in its worthlessness that people are actually buying it at great expense for comedic value, check how many of these this seller has actually sold already:
