Really? Isn't that why we sell watches? To make money to buy more watches? Yes it's a beautiful piece but just because you saw it for 4500 on eBay doesn't mean it will sell for that on eBay. Enjoy your watch. :)

That's the problem with overpaying for nice examples. You have make sure they are keepers...I just can't keep mine that long..unless it was a pie pan deluxe, then that would be a keeper, provided it was new old stock of course! ;)

I am telling that the prices that someone offer to me, does not reach my expetation.looking to other seller price.
I list it for 3000 usd,no one offer to me this price, even though the price was to much higher!!!
As no one is ready to offer this price,I decide to keep for my self(only in good offer I will make exceptions)!!!!!!!

Roveno, please show us the watch like yours that sold for $4500 - link to the listing. Somehow, I seriously doubt it was in the same condition or was the same reference. Or maybe it was asking price, not actual selling price. Quite frankly, if somebody paid $4500 for a watch just like yours in the exact same condition then the buyer overpaid by at least $2000. Now if it was wit box and papers and mint, I could possibly see that reference and dial combo reaching $4500 on an open auction with a small bidding war.

I like your watch. I'd recommend your watch - and I think I did to one of our members in a PM. I just think that $2500 is a more appropriate price. I could see your asking price of $3000 being a good starting point though. If, however, you wish to keep it unless you get your price than that's perfectly acceptable - after all, it is your watch.

    Thank you for all !!!
But I am not asking 4500 usd,but the point is ,that if a item cost more than you are searching,is not a good to sell it with a discount!!! Understood!!
    Is better to keep it!!!

Just as I suspected - the $4300 is asking price. HUGE difference from an actual SELLING price. I could ask $50,000 for my Seiko SKX 009 - but nobody would buy it.

Just an FYI: I sold the same 168.005 in better condition than that listing for $2500 about a year ago. There's no way in hell it's gone up in value $1800.

Which would be a fair assessment. He's in the same ballpark as what I said above:
