Roveno, please show us the watch like yours that sold for $4500 - link to the listing. Somehow, I seriously doubt it was in the same condition or was the same reference. Or maybe it was asking price, not actual selling price. Quite frankly, if somebody paid $4500 for a watch just like yours in the exact same condition then the buyer overpaid by at least $2000. Now if it was wit box and papers and mint, I could possibly see that reference and dial combo reaching $4500 on an open auction with a small bidding war.
I like your watch. I'd recommend your watch - and I think I did to one of our members in a PM. I just think that $2500 is a more appropriate price. I could see your asking price of $3000 being a good starting point though. If, however, you wish to keep it unless you get your price than that's perfectly acceptable - after all, it is your watch.
