·Cue Michael MacDonald music.......For Sale is my Seiko Yacht Timer 7a28 7090 - in outstanding condition a truly beautiful, jaw dropping watch - but it’s...ahem....a Quartz. Is it rare, not sure, but certainly uncommon and very unusual. It’s also many things besides a Yacht Timer - a Foudroyante, a Rattrapante and a Split Seconds Timer - in summary it’s a downright cool piece of Horology.

Case- 1 small ding on top rhs lug, bullhead design sandblasted type finish 40mm diameter
Lugs- 20mm
Dial - Outstanding condition, no signs of fade on hands or text
Crystal - Unmarked
Caseback- serial no indicates May 83 production. Professional engraving indicates that Watch has been passed down “From TK SS to MO to AH 1984 7 31” Maybe Passed amongst Yacht Club Commodores, but who knows!
Strap/s- comes with the original GL21A Rubber Strap and blue Eulit 2 piece
Service History - undocumented, however when I bought it, it had just had battery replaced and been serviced. I have no written proof of this but it’s running and resetting as it should. Time keeping is fantastic as a 7a28 is expected to be.

Sorry, no photos in the Watch’s natural habitat, on a Yacht or a boat of any kind!
Price- £950 net to me, UK postage will be free. I'm happy to ship elsewhere at the buyers expense and method of choosing. I'm based in the U.K. South Oxfordshire. I attend Time4aPint and I do travel a bit, so personal collection or delivery in the UK may be a possibility.
