I need help... I bought this beautiful watch and it came with this beauiful Milanese band.
But there's a gap between the lug end and the band. Is this missing any end piece?
What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Looks normal to me. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen these style bracelets with fitted end links. Here’s one of mine.

Sorry maybe I misunderstood. Are you talking about this gap? Looks minimal and the same as mine above.

May be they are supposed to be that way. The Milanese band is made by Seiko and I thought the gap was too much for my liking. That's ok I will wear the bracelet that came with it. Thank you for all the help.

There you are. I’m still curious, were you talking about the gap I circled in my second photo?

Not really I was talking about the gap between the watch and the spring bar. Unless that tube inside which the spring bar is located that gap will remain. To my taste, it just looks odd.

Some watch bracelets have fitted end-links. End-links are the part at the end of the bracelet that allow the bracelet to be connected to the watch head with a spring bar and ones that are fitted conform with the watch head lugs and provide a smooth transition. Your bracelet has straight end-links. It allows a bracelet to fit many different watches. Nothing wrong with that gap.

I agree with the prior poster regarding the fitted end links. While they look good, they can complicate the process of swapping bracelets/straps. I think your watch looks fine as well.

As has been mentioned, that's how that style of bracelet fits. Especially if not designed for the specific watch in question — which this clearly wasn't (despite being Seiko branded).

Congrats on the new watch BTW. I really like this reedition, and have been considering it myself 😀

It looks like you have a SPB317. If I am correct and you might be looking for a bracelet option with fitted endlinks, Have a look at Unclestraps.com. There appears to be 3 bracelet options that will give you the fit you might be looking for.

The Z199 is my personal favorite. The Senator is styled after the Rolex Oyster and there is also a Super Engineer. I will say that the SE is a very heavy bracelet.

Here is the tapered Z199 on 2 of my divers
