Seiko SSB479P1 Quartz Panda Chronograph Review

I was walking in the Lafayette in Reims and this caught my eye. Always nice to see a new seiko. Sadly it carries a quartz movement. At the other hand, why not a quartz for this watch.... Retail price EUR 480. What do you think? Like or no like?

True. I've never had a quartz but I'm serious thinking to buy this watch. Maybe it could be my new holiday watch!

I think if you want a panda without spending a ton, this is a great option. The size and thickness look quite nice on the wrist.

And with a seiko quartz it’ll probably go forever, or a little shy of. It’s very nice looking.

This is the one I went with a ways back, the Seiko SBPY133. Comes on a bracelet, prefer on a strap.
