    There was a 62MAS re-issue/homage watch at Basel World this year. The price was rather steep at EUR3,800 ( I have also read US$3,400). I believe the release date is next month. Does anyone know where it is possible to reserve one. As far as I can tell there is a limited run of 2,000. I have tried contacting an AD here but without success.

    Paul Keating? @JimInOz. Not sure on the Strine mate but did you mean " Streuth, big Bikkies, mate?" It's a few Dollars for a Seiko but a decent movement and I like it. People pay mental money for a half ton, push rod, V twin that was developed in the 1920's and puts out about 60HP. That'll be a Harley, mediocre product, exceptional marketing department. I ain't just poking fun at the 'Mericans, the BM boxer is just as bad. I have 5 bikes in the shed, all Japanese, like Seiko.

    Also love the reissue/homage of the 62mas but also that price point. Not that's it's expensive for a Seiko, just seems a bit pricy for it considering same movement used in another watch at a much better price point, can't remember model sorry.
    Saying this now in July 2017 you can "still" pick up a genuine nice condition 62mas for about the same price and for me if im gonna go reissue or original I'd take original all day.

    You would be surprised with the prices people are asking for them in the secondary market! It seems like another speedy Tuesday!

    Took delivery of one not long ago. Its a really great watch in person and a very nice homage to the original. Luckily I live in the US where the pricing is below most of the rest of the world for some reason.

    Please post some pictures ::love::.

    Apart from press release and watchbloggs there are not enough real world pics of this watch around.

    Here you go. I'm not the best photographer but... The dial and indices changes quite a bit based on light conditions. I put the watch on a Eulit strap. w1.jpg w2.jpg w3.jpg w4.jpg

    Very nice whatch! Thanks for the pictures! The grey sunburst dial looks stunning and the Eulit Kristal is a nice fit! It seems like some day I have to get me a SLA017 :oops:.

    Thanks all. The dial believe it or not is actually more striking in person but just could not quite capture it. I put it on the Eulit Panama while waiting for a tropic strap without a taper. We'll see but so far I really like it on the Eulit.

    Ah, it's the panama, my bad. They all look quite similar in pictures. I personally prefer the Palma Pacific.I can't recommend them more, cheap and great quality! I got myself a couple of them over the years. Just make sure before purchase that it's a legit Eulit and not an aftermarket one.

    Great collection of straps. I was debating on the palma will probably pick one up and give it a try as well. I did order from an official retailer of Eulit, I don't mind paying a few extra bucks for the real deal. Its the first time I'm trying one and I really like it for the perfect fit and comfort.
