Seiko skx007 w/Strapcode Bracelet - Great daily diver!

For all the fellow OF members out there I find myself once again making room and thought somebody might enjoy this extra 007 I have in close to excellent condition. Everyone knows this one; a great, functional, work piece and solidly built to boot, so I'll let the pics do most of the talking. Comes as shown on aftermarket bracelet and the boxes, pamphlet, etc shown - I have no idea what happened to the original Seiko bracelet/strap, as I received this in a multi piece trade. No service info although it runs very well in casual observation and I have taken it into the pool a handful of times.

Kinda watch you almost have to have. The skx007 is a bigger watch but short lug to lug it’s a great chunky beast. The only downside was that stock bracelet which wasn’t terrible just didn’t feel that great. I put mine on a strap code as well and was surprised how solidly they are built. What the hec am I doing setting myself up to buy another one damn.
Anyway its just a classic and I have had discussions with the kipster wouldn’t hesitate buying from him.

Second @Walrus on the strapcode. The factory bracelet that came with the mini turtle was mediocre at best. I have mine on a strapcode razor style (for that 70’s flair) and it’s beautifully made.

Shoot don’t want to high jack kips thread but I’m doing the same for my turtle. I think the strap code beats out uncle seiko by a hair when it comes to build, mind you love the uncle seikos I have not a sleight on them and that could just be my opinion anyway.

Main point being getting an skx with a strapcode installed for the selling price makes it very reasonable. I do have a couple cool after market rubber straps for my turtle I’m gonna try prior to picking up the strap code

I’m curious to know it’s mfg date.

if you don’t have one, get one now as these are going up. And it’s replacement just doesn’t have the same magic even though it’s the same case.

My 009 is a killer everyday piece. My Dad and one of my best friends daily a 007 and my gf daily’s a 013 midsize. I’ve got a 007 from the what I think is last month of production nib.

these are effortlessly always in style but not showy, bullet proof, zombie apocalypse proof, and a must have in any collection.

If this has a production month year that means something to me I’ll pick it up.

I looked it up and it’s manufacture date is on the same day you did that thing so it obviously will have significant sentimental value.
