Disaster at home, her ladyships Seiko SGG715P1 has developed a fault with the day/date change and rather than looking for a repair I would be interested if anyone had this model in great condition that they would like to part with.
Yes many similar pieces available but she has a real affection to this model.

Why not get it repaired? If I did my web search correctly, a replacement movement is $13 from https://perrinwatchparts.com/en-us/products/quartz_watch_movement_quartz_7n43_20 or $22 from https://www.esslinger.com/genuine-s...-7n43-day-and-date-3-00-overall-height-5-0mm/

Replacing the entire watch just seems silly unless there are other things wrong with it physically.

Probably easier to get from Cousins if you're after a movement, GBP £11.60.

It's a very easy swap and preserves the primary value of the watch (case/dial/hands/bracelet).

All sorted now, new movement on the way from Cousins, t.b.h. I expected the movement to be more expensive.
