    Very happy with this Seiko Turtle Prospex SRPC49K1. Normally pvd coating isn't my thing, but I couldn't pass on this one when it came by through the second hand circuit. These retailed at €450 euro, and resell values have close to doubled by now. Managed to get my hands on one for a reasonable mark-up :whistling:

    Here’s my latest addition to my watch family
    It’s a 50th Anniversary Edition Sports 5 World Timer GMT black IP coated stainless steel automatic model SRP437K1with push button deployment clasp and signed buckle with safety lock. Black dial with luminous hands and hour markers. Powered by Seiko 4R36A (hacking) automatic movement. Hardlex crystal face with a Bidirectional World Cities bezel with 24 hour inner ring. Case diameter is 44 mm and about 13 mm thick. English/Atabic Day-Date. Water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. Clear back case.

    I tried on an Aussie only LE recently. No Pic, but it weighed a ton. They should have gone for titanium.

    Interesting point about the Thai day wheels. Never seen a day wheel in Thai script nor the numerals. I'll be emailing the service centre in Bangkok today, I'll ask them.
