Wearing mine now after months in the drawer. Time still ok. Just had to adjust the date.
Seiko Bellmatic Christmas bling.
You don't see Golden Bells very often, quite fitting for the day
Thank you Sir.

Mine might be older but still much better, methinks
What's the right number of Sumos? Is it that old n+1 thing?
Just enjoying this for a short time before sending to my brother as his 50th birthday gift.
Love my Seiko's:
Old school, new school.
After reading pretty much every vintage Seiko post here at OF ( thank you all)
I finally pulled the trigger and just acquired from Arbitro in Tokyo my first ever Seiko... the 4502-8010 King Seiko Hi-Beat circa 1970! It’s early, but so far I’m very impressed with this chronometer grade hand wind. I’m fond of retro looking pillow/ C cases .. (you get the vintage watch that looks much bigger than some of the 33-35 mm watches I have) .
Great edges to the polished case and I love the way the low profile crystal emerges from the bezel... all the steel furniture looks fantastic on the slightly warm dial. For only $500; I think it’s a great deal ..
I love these things and at a great price. I have a ordinary date KS in decent shape and a good medallion but yours looks better.
I don't know if it's an illusion but they do sound quicker! Lol
Thsnks Humpty...It is pretty cool to both listen and look at the second hand. I have a few 36k beat watches and it’s definitely different looking compared to the lower beat watches I have. This KS is seemingly bigger in real life. Seiko really hit it out of the park with these clean dials ..very legible and classy.
I couldn't help but notice the resemblance of the Seiko KS dial to my Shanhai Watch Factory ZSH dial. Hands are similar as well though the Chinese watch has shorter hands for some reason. A medium high beat at 21,600 BPH.
Definitely. Your second hand is unique imo ... That’s what jumped out to me.
I’ll join in on the KS party. This is my second King Seiko and I love it. My cousin wanted the other one so badly I had to sell it to him and buy another. If you haven’t played with one in person, make that a New Years resolution.
