Please don’t take that wrong, just saying it would most likely get more activity. I wasn’t insinuating replacement.

The quartz chrono and Seiko 5. Birthday gifts from my extended family in Hong Kong, so sentimental value more than anything else :)

In that case, I'll state my very first "dibs" on the other two. :D

There's a Zenith section? ...I never looked ::bleh::

As for Seiko - I just realized that I have many, even if I don't count my 1970's Seiko 5 blue dial automatic with missing crown and missing links. That includes a NIB SKX007, an older SKX009 (is 1996 vintage yet?), the SKX173 that I wore to my son's Eagle Scout project 5 yr ago, a PVD coated Astron Chronograph with GPS clock and Solar power, my PADI Turtle and Blue Lagoon Turtle, and last but not least my Grand Seiko SBGX115 white dial no date diver.

There are other dedicated Seiko forums, but most of them are not that well moderated like OF is. I understand not wanting to clutter up the sub-forum list, but it could drive more discussion with Seiko in specific. There's definitely a wealth of knowledge about Seiko here that's kind of scattered all over the place.

Just some of my favorites that I own/have owned:

I guess I'll have to put in for my dibs on the Lord Matic day date in the upper right corner :whistling:

That one's already been reserved :x

Back to topic - Seiko is one of those few brands that has a watch for any collector at any budget be it vintage or modern. So a separate section is not unprecedented ^^

“Unruly” is one of these fascinating words that’s the inverse of a word that doesn’t exist. Unless anyone has ever heard of a ruly mob, that is. :)

The dry cleaners we used to use when we lived in the city had a woman named Ruly who worked the counter. I don't know if that was here entire name or a shortened nickname, nor how it was spelled.
