·For sale is my Golden Arnie (or Golden Tuna) ref. H558-500A from December ‘84 in excellent condition.
A true collector’s piece, this reference is about as rare as it gets (I’ve only ever seen a handful of others on the web) and you would be hard-pressed to find one in better condition.
This one comes with an original Seiko decompression limits strap, also in great condition.
Everything functions as it should (I can DM you a link to a quick video) The watch tells excellent time, gaining a handful of seconds per month.
The rotating bezel is stuck at 12:00 (not uncommon for a vintage Arnie... even the ones that rotate are generally very tight. Given the outstanding condition of the original shroud, I chose not to remove the shroud and fix the bezel.
Asking $1,650 CAD via PayPal F&F (the equivalent of $1,250 USD) OBRO, which includes insured shipping within Canada or CONUS. I can discuss splitting the shipping costs with overseas buyers. No returns accepted.
Plenty of references here on OF as well as on various other forums.
