    Hi all,
Just picked up this GMT. Not my first GMT though. Had a Rolex 1675 AND a full set 16700 in very, very nice condition. However I (to my regret) sold them because of pricing being just ridiculous. Well, it turned out that I was to pessimistic at that time. The increase in pricing has skyrocketed since.

It’s a bit sad that it has become increasingly harder to buy nice vintage without being loaded with money.

However I found, and picked up, this Seiko today. It makes my grin when I realize that it’s still a lot of fun vintage besides the regular big brands!

Pictures? The Seiko GMT I want is a Navigator Timer 6117-8000. A couple months ago there was one on Etsy missing the chapter ring for $250. I really should have bought it, as I only looked at the going prices otherwise after this. Not sure how hard it would have been to get that ring, but I really feel like I missed out.

I've been somewhat searching for a Seiko SUN067P1 to change it up when I get bored of my Seamaster Pro.

That’s great advice. At times you’ll see ‘parts’ watches you take that second look at. That’s the one to buy!

Nice pics by the way @Peter Lundberg

@rcs734 i hunted mine... took a gamble on bad pics and a new seller and lucked out.

250... man that’s hard, finding the chapter ring would be a huge hunt. But the price is great... I’m not sure if I would have jumped on it.

I would bet that there is another Seiko out there that would have something similar that could work at the very least, but it is a moot point now. Probably would have been a hunt, but considering that getting one for less than $800 now otherwise seems to be impossible...

Seiko made a few variations of the Navigator timers, world time etc. I removed the original bracelet on this one and put it on a strap.
