I just received a Seiko EL 370. How do I adjust the day/date.

At the bottom of the dial, there are two four-digit alpha-numeric numbers. Four characters on the left of the 6, and four to the right of the 6. On the LEFT side of the six digit is the model number of the mechanism. It is that number you will need in order to search out instructions for setting the day and date. Your picture is very poor, and I am unable to read that code.

I too saw that site. He doesn’t give any instructions for setting the day and date. In addition, this movement was made with date only, and day/date. The instructions will differ.

On the EL-370 the date can be changed by pressing in the crown. The day is changed by passing 24hrs then winding back to 21hrs and repeating.

That's a pretty standard process for a lot of Seikos. If the crown doesn't pull out in stages then try giving it a push 😀
