Limited edition remake of the "Jobs" Seiko has been released in collaboration with NanoUniverse.

One can see how the Apple founder was attracted to this clean legible design language.

Just called the Seiko boutique in NY and tried to put a pre-order on the black and white versions. For $177 that is a lot of watch for the money.

 

I like the collaboration, I think an off-white dial like the original would have been slightly better looking.

 

And? Did they let you?

 

No they did not. Will not be available for sale in the US...However, I reached out to a friend who lives in Japan and I am trying to purchase as many as they will let me through him. The guy in the Seiko store even told me that if I get an extra one he would purchase one from me.
