Seiko 7t42

Hi All

I was doing a bit of a clear out last week and I came across this in a drawer. I was given it as a gift 22 years ago. It wasn't running and I was unsure how long it had been stopped for so I popped the back off stuck a new battery in and its working perfectly, keeping time to the second.

I remember at the time being fascinated by it, the chronograph function and the countdown timer and wore it 24/7. I've been looking for some info on the net about it but can't find much. Can anyone tell me anything about it, I assume quite a few were produced?
