Having recently drained the coffers after acquiring a new Speedmaster via Spacefruit, I feel it's time to start actually selling some watches (to date, my hobby of "buying and selling watches" has been almost exclusively in acquisition). This specimen is very modestly priced for ΩF, but hey, you have to start somewhere. I'll need to shift quite a few a this rate ... This is a Seiko 7a38-7270 from July 1987; it's the world's first analogue quartz chronograph with day/date function (how obscure is that) but has the fantastic 1/20ths whirling hand on the subdial at 3, strangely labelled 1/10s. I fell in love with this watch family after reading about it on Fratello - https://www.fratellowatches.com/tbt-seiko-7a38-chronograph/ - and found this one shortly after. I now have 4x 7a28/7a38 and I think it's time to let one go. Model specialist Spencer Klein had one the same for sale, and gave a tour around it on . This particular watch has just had a new crystal, battery and case back gasket. It's in good nick with a few scratches on the case back but only wear related fine scratches on the bracelet and a few light swirls on the case. The movement is clean (not much to see on a case-back off shot so didn't take one). It's 37mm excluding crown/pushers so wears quite small on the wrist. The watch is in the UK and I'm looking for £250 OBO. I'd prefer face-to-face / cash (in/near London), or payment via bank transfer or Paypal to me of the net amount.
