I recently got my first Seiko 7016 chronograph; it's the 7016-5000 model nicknamed "Monaco" due to its square-ish case shape. I like the watch a fair bit but I've decided I must stop this incessant acquisition, and start to let some of them fly.

SO here we go - it's from August 1972, and in very good condition - the 7016 movement is an automatic chronograph which shares no parts with the 613x movements that came out of the Suwa factory, this one being designed and built in Daini Seikosha. There are some subtle differences in function compared to the 6139 - most notable the stacked subdial hands, which count elapsed minutes and elapsed hours on the chrono function. It's also a flyback chronograph, unlike its Suwa cousins.

The 7016 is a good deal rarer than the 613x family; they don't come up for sale very often in comparison, and are typically a good bit more expensive too.

The watch is in the UK and I'm after £650 delivered to UK (€730 / $865 USD). Payment by Transferwise preferred and we can look at costs of international shipping. I have history on here and elsewhere - any questions, please just ping me a PM. Make me an offer if you like - I may be up for trades up or down, and try me if you have other ideas on price/delivery. Thanks OF for the space!

Condition-wise, it's very good - there are some marks to the case but it's unpolished and still retains some of its brushing. Dial and hands are really good, and it's keeping good time - though I don't know of any service history.
Everything works as it should - day/date change, chrono starts, stops & resets crisply.

Pictured here on a 20mm width black leather strap, though the lug width is 19mm so it'll come with the bracelet fitted, shown below.

It has this interesting monococque arrangement where the a couple of lugs are pressed in to release the top half of the case - I took it apart to give it a good clean, then carefully reassembled.

I decided to put the watch on a bracelet, so will offer it with this instead of the ill-fitting strap. It's a solid steel affair with unsigned clasp and Excalibur International on the inside blades of the clasp.
