I recently purchased a Seiko 6602 8050 on a beads of rice bracelet as a spares project. The main reason I bid was for the bracelet which I wanted for my 66 8050 ( Top left on pic 1).

On receiving the watch I was pleasantly surprised by the condition but its clear it needs a service. There is something off with the setting mechanism for a start. I think I will get it serviced though as I think these little Seiko handwinders are cracking little watches. My recently serviced watch keeps great time and the proportions are great. Almost like a slimmed down Sarb035.

It seems like the Seiko and Citizen vintage gems are virtually unlimited. I particularly like your no-date dial version.

I agree. There might not be better bargains to be had in the £60-£100 price range. The Beads of Rice bracelets are also a bit of a bargain too. They are nicely weighted. I wonder if Seiko made them in-house?
