Damn I just realized I still have this. I only have it as a very nice young nurse prevented me from throwing it away. Last year I took vacation in the ICU where I was treated to painful incisions, Demerol and all kinds of various poking and prodding. I went in wearing this watch as I didn’t really know how bad I was.

Anyway after a couple slices and dices I was stuck there I kept trying to set this watch but I’d check the time in an hour find it was way off. I also dropped it giving it some dings. A nurse picked it up, I told her she could toss it as it had disappointed me not keeping proper time. She said it looked nice I shouldn’t throw it out, put it in a little plastic bag above my head on a shelf where I couldn’t get it.

She reminded me as I left, I set it on the way home it was fine. I was just in so bad shape I couldn’t even set a watch.

I got it new on an Amazon flash sale for I think 90 bucks. Anyway cool has a little more meaning now thank you Nursie dear.

Oh yes and funny enough the watch was tucked away in that single walrus branded watch holder from @Duracuir1 fine leather goods. I am still separated from the majority of my collection due to the aforementioned event which happened inconveniently in the middle of a move but I may have that remedied in a month or two.
However nurses are special people. I took all the classes and “classroom” trainings for an LPN. It would be helpful for my job to have another few letters after my name the only thing left is the in hospital ghosting and training but I gotta be honest I don’t think I can handle it. As I get older I have a more difficult time dealing with the suffering of others I feel kinda like I’m giving up in a way but at some point if it don’t feel right, you don’t gotta do it. I’ll reevaluate in a while.

They're a great watch for the price. I wore mine as a daily when working on a shipyard (desk engineer 😉).
Had this one for about 22 years now.

Dang!
Just realised I should have worn it when I picked up my scooter replacement.
It would have completed the outfit @dsio was so envious of 😆.

I like the biegish dial if that is the color. When I stumbled across the sale I don’t think they had different dial variations. I was going to try mine on a nato if I can dig one out. But they are a great beater watch and although the 7s26 movement can be hit or miss with accuracy mine has stood up pretty well.

Do as you will, for a minute I was surprised I didn’t remember writting all that in the title but in case internet traffic is directed here due to my post you should put up a disclaimer that the OP provides no educational nor rational information on any watch it’s a wonder he can even think at all. Idiot wind, blowing everytime he moves his teeth or something to that effect.
