Seiko 5 7s26 0480 caseback change

I very much like these watches - particularly the blue dial version - but I’ve always felt that the see-through caseback makes the watch too bulky on my skinny wrist. And, after all, it’s not as though the 7s26 movement is of particular beauty.

Anyway, whilst browsing the web, I came across a Dutch company offering a slimmer caseback and I bought one.

It’s slimmed the watch from 12.3mm to 10.9 mm, which is perfect for me.

By way of comparison, my beloved slim 165.041 Geneve is 11mm
