    Hello all,
I may be posting this thread in a few of the watch forums. I have a rather small collection of Omega/Rolex/Oris/Seiko watches which none exceed 39mm case size. I prefer an Automatic/Manual wind as well as the vintage watch look above all and wouldn't put anything on my wrist over 40mm. I also prefer a thinner watch but doubt I can have everything. I have a few dress/Motorsport and everyday watches and have been searching brand after brand. I am posting this to gather other watch enthusiasts experience with a great Summer watch. My interpretation of a summer watch is one that I can swim without question, partake in outdoor sports and still have class for a late night beach bonfire. As i'm typing this the post does seem crazy or it screams SM-300M/Sub but I am at roughly a 2.2k USD budget and anything greater at this point I wouldn't bring near water/sand or contact. Although I love my Oris Artelier moon complication 3bar as an everyday watch from what I've read anything 3bar should remain away from water. Also a screw down crown on the watch I am searching for would make me feel a confident. I have looked at a lot from Omega which unfortunately seems just outside my budget which I may stretch for a used piece then i'd feel obligated to get an immediate service and pressure test to just be safe. Thus far I've looked into Hamilton, Unimatic (quite fond of and would love feedback), Oris, Seiko, Tissot, and TAG. Some I may have missed and would love ideas. If anyone who has a watch such as this and is in love i'd like to ask what and why. Also does a watch without a screw down crown worry anyone? or is it safe to swim with.
I know this post is out there and my displaced preferences but would GREATLY appreciate any help!.
    Thanks,
    Ross F

Used Tudor 58 on Tudor NATO, might be maxing the budget but finding one at that price is half the fun. Or failing that get a Seiko Blue alpinist, and stick it in a bracelet, or get a Hamilton field 38 mechanical and put it on an Erika's. All three are my summer watches and fit nearly every requirement I have (my 58 is on bracelet, with a crown and buckle chevron)

A few of us all bought these recently. Screw down crown. Super nice. It’s getting sport wear for sure. Are Tudor 58 not going way beyond that price point ?

I'd probably go for a used regular Black Bay - there's plenty around.
Falling that a good Seiko PADI would do the trick.

Yeah the market is drowning and older Black bay but 58 is quite the hot ticket at the moment I think but I’ve been keeping an eye for them at a fair price and not to often they pop up :/

Tudor BBB or 58 is a great watch for the purpose.
By myself? always go back to the best watch I own , (and I own many R watches and other high end) but this one is the real "
indestructible" , do it all, always great visability (underwater, night etc) , accurate, light (160g) watch,
