Thanks for sharing but I can quickly say this one isn’t for me. I do not like the oblong subdials, date window or any of the diamonds. I’m sure my GF would like this, but this is about as far away from what a Speedmaster should be as it gets, IMO.

edit: asked the GF and she loves it! Now it’s on her wish list.

Interestingly, I bought the black version which has round sub dials about a year ago along with a deployant strap instead of a reduced. It has been a pleasant daily companion, quite accurate (about +1.5 sec/day) and am generally pleased with it. Would have preferred the hands be white instead of rhodium. Recently purchased a new 3861 Sapphire Speedmaster and the wife inquired about her wearing the 38.
