Second opinions on this pre-deville Seamaster…

Like the title says, I need some second opinions. I found this Seamaster preville online that I believe is a 14770 with a rather unique dial. I just have some concerns over the case and it’s apparent two tone nature as it doesn’t look correct for gold cap. Wrong crown is also apparent. I’ve found similar dial configurations on other 14770s with crosshairs and these markers but none with this ribboned texture.

Disclaimer: the photos are not good and I realize I will need better photos in order for better judgement to be passed from OF. It is a very classic “out of focus” listing but these tend to be diamonds in the rough. I am working on it with the seller but it is proving to be an uphill battle.

Any current insights are welcome. Thank you.

The good, it is a known dial configuration/finish, I've had a couple similar pass through my hands over the years but obviously can't say much about the condition.

Case is correct as well, but it looks a bit soft particularly the top edges of the lugs.

Second hand looks short.

Really need better photos to say much more.

I appreciate the comments. Hopefully going to be able to post more clear photos soon. The seller is being very particular and is adamant on selling this in person which could be difficult seeing as they are in Canada and I’m in the US. The only thing keeping my interest is the dial.

I’ve seen this ribbon configuration before but never with a black dial and with crosshairs. But then again I’m still pretty new.

It’s look correct (crown notwithstanding) but you’ll need much better pictures to determine the dial condition.

We have plenty of Canadian members here who could probably do the exchange for you if they are close to the seller

Well it looks like case closed on this watch. Received another not so great photo but it looks like water intrusion and damage on the dial probably on part of the replacement crown. Comments are welcome.

The bezel, overexposed in the first photo, looks absolutely torn up in the most recent (esp. the SE quadrant)?
