Hi, I am pretty sure I already know the answer, but it can't hurt to throw it out there. I purchased the watch right around the time I joined the site in 1999. Luckily before they got a grand more expensive. Had it five years. It came from Japan and was in really nice shape. No Service history. For all I know it has never been serviced. Fully wound on the wrist it is +6 seconds per day. On the timeographer it looks pretty dirty to me. I am leaning toward the service. My old watch maker would have told me at +6 SPD, wear it until it shows that it needs it. Face up, one position, below. Cal. 1120. Please let me know if I am on the right track.

I think you mean you got it in 2019? That result looks very poor with very low amplitude and very high beat error. It definitely needs a service and soon. The lift angle should be set to 52 degrees by the way for that movement but even set right both figures will be poor.

Thanks for the confirmation. I think I looked up the 1150 and not the 1120 for the lift angle. Still leaning with the thing. I have a few to send down to my new watchmaker one all the parts get here. It will be serviced this month.
