I'm about to pull the trigger on this datejust... I just need a second eye to make sure I'm not making a spontaneous buy... seller states that obviously "watch has been polished"... would you consider this watch over polished? Thanks everyone for your opinions! I'm my eye lugs looks pretty acceptable(even) ... Thanks in advance everyone!

The lines on the poilsh are pretty wobbly and uneven which would bother the crap out of me. Bezel is still sharp at least, which is nice.

The dial is REALLY plain though, are you sure you like it? I'm having a hard time finding any other reference of a DJ with printed roman numeral indices. It looks REALLY bland, and I'm not surprised they switched that dial after a while.

Unless it was a REALLY good deal, I wouldn't buy this, even if I liked the DJ.

Sweet thanks for the speedy reply!! I've always dug the "Buckley" printed dials. But the main reason is that this Datejust is my birth year watch 1978 and it kinda gives that vibe of late 70's lol. I'll take a better look for the things you had mentioned!! Much appreciated!!

I think the edge is sharp and the lugs are reasonably thick, so a simple refinishing would bring it up to snuff. I wouldn't let that bother me if you like the watch. I'm not a TT fan, and the bracelet is in pretty bad shape.
