Am I the only one cautious when putting on the seat belt?

Naa..you are not alone. @ulackfocus has a technique to prevent these sort of encounters..I can't find the thread where he explains the procedure..

I am now. I once popped the ceramic bezel off my Sub when attempting to fasten an airplane seatbelt. The way those bezels are attached to the watch is tricky, so it had to go to the RSC for two months and cost me about $150. I'm told if the bezel had been damaged or lost it would have been 10x as expensive.

I saw my brother once tucking his left hand in his left back-pocket of his trousers, while walking through a jammed shopping mall.
I asked him why (looked a bit '...nah...') but then I understood....

I actually never wear a fine watch during flights; rather have it in my briefcase (old glasses cases with small cloth will do) and wear them later.
