Searching for months: Anyone knows this Seamaster Quartz?

Dear all,

For months I have been looking for informations about this particular Seamaster Quartz with a grey/brown dial, roman numbers and the specific bezel. I wanted to buy it last summer but was too slow.

Has anyone any idea?

It’s not the 396.0888.

De facto the only additional information I have: 1430 movement.

Even though, I largely lost hope I count on the community!

Best regards and many thanks

Wilkommen zu OmegaForums. ‘Seit’ auf Deutsch funktioniert nicht ganz wie ‘since’ auf English 😁 But I digress.

When you were ‘too slow’ did you not make a record of the sale? Surely the reference number was in that prior sale? I’m certain someone will know this reference and help you shorty…

Many thanks for your quick reply and your indeed valuable remark regarding "since" in the title. I altered it 😀

Unfortunately, the retailer has no further information, no reference, no nothing.

Hi, from a quick search my guess is 196.0288/396.0978 with a dark hobnail dial variant,

kind regards Max

I doubt that the persons selling a watch like that would look further than the back so looking for a 1430 should do it. Sooner or later one with your preferred dial will turn up.
