You know there are other movements that share the parts.

Unless you need the calendar bits. Then you're stuck with only the Cals. 353 & 355.

There are lots of 34X and 35X on eBay. If you do not need some special part - such as the date features and the exact rotor or its springs - it would be easier to enlarge your search. What part do you need?

    Hello,
I need to change my movement because it has taken water and there is some rust on the movement.. The watch works but the repairmen said to me that it's better if i change the all movement. Only the hammer movement is perfect ! So if i can find a 355 movement with a hammer movement broken it's a perfect deal for me

So you need a good working movement, except the rotor! Well, it will be harder to find and more expansive than finding a donor for parts.

eBay. Cals. 351, 353 and 354 all have many (but not all) common parts. All depends on what parts you need.

Look for a watch that isn't working.

Fair warning, you aren't the only one looking.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear. If, following your watchmaker ´s advice, you want to switch movements, you need a complete working movement (less the rotor), and it will be harder to find and more expansive.

If you only needed a donor, you would have been able to buy other 34X or 35X movements and only check that the part you need are good.

Look on eBay. Unfortunately, the 355 is not as common as the 354 but, the 354 shares many parts of the train and keyless works (plus, likely the auto mechanism) with the 355 so, you'd end up needing few parts if the plate and bridges you have are good. A quick comparison of many of the parts called out (354 on the left and 355 on the right) shows that a lot of the part numbers are the same as they are both based on the 330. Your watchmaker will be able to check this list, include the missing items and say what you need.
    3301100 - 3301100 Ratchet wheel
    3301101 - 3301101 Crown wheel
    3301102 - 3301102 Crown wheel core
    3301104 - 3301104 Click
    2401105 - 2401105 Click spring
    3401106 - 3401106 Winding stem
    3301107 - 3301107 Clutch wheel
    3001108 - 3001108 Winding pinion
    3301109 - 3301109 Setting lever
    3301110 - 3301110 Setting lever spring
    3301111 - 3301111 Yoke
    3301112 - 3301112 Yoke spring
    3301113 - 3301113 Setting wheel
    3301200 - 3301200 Barrel with arbor
    3301204 - 3301204 Barrel arbor
    3501208 - 3501208 Mainspring
    3511216 - 3301216 Second (great wheel)
3511218 - 3531218 Cannon pinion - this comes in various heights with different part numbers.
3511224 - 3531224 Centre wheel plus cannon pinion
    3511231 - 3531231 Hour wheel
    3501240 - 3501240 Third wheel
    3501243 - 3501243 Fourth wheel
    3301246 - 3301246 Minute wheel
    3511250 - 3531250 Centre seconds pinion
3501255 - 3501255 Friction spring for seconds pinion
    3301305 - 3301305 Escape wheel
    3301312 - 3301312 Pallet staff
    3301316 - 3301316 Pallet fork
    3301321 - 3301321 Balance staff
    3301327 - 3301327 Balance complete
    3321331 - 3321331 Regulator
    3441332 - 3441332 Regulator pointer
    3441333 - 3441333 Two piece regulator

Here's a 354 on eBayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network as an example.

I posted my message before reading Gatorcpa' s last one.

Something is maybe not clear enough: do you need to change ALL the movement? Or do you only need a donor which would give also the platine? That means that you would keep parts from the original movement.

If it is the second choice, you have to check what parts you will keep from the original movement, as these parts will not have to work in the new movement. I think un particular of the balance: if you can buy a movement or a watch with a non working balance, it will probably be cheaper.

If it is the under-dial (calendar) parts that are bad, and the date ring deteriorated by the water, sounds to me as though you have little choice but to find a caliber 355. The list provided by Chris N shows no calendar parts, unfortunately. My caliber 355 Omega came to me with minor water damage to the steel calendar parts, but no damage to dial or date ring. The rust cleaned up with a fibreglass brush. Fortunately!

    Hello everyone,
Thanks a lot for you answer. I've given my Omega watch to the repairman because it didn't work after a little fall on my wooden floor. The repairman said that a center wheel (i'll ask him wich one) was spoiled but all the rest was working. As for him, the watch can works anyway with the spoiled wheel but that it's better to change it and it'll we cost around 80-100 euros. As he is perfectionist (that is why i like him), the movement has some rust (not a lot) on the movement and it will be better, if it's not to expansive to change all the movement. Only because of some rust, not because it's not working. As you say, it's quite difficult and expansive to find a perfect condition 355 movement so i think that i'm going to keep my movement as it is and only change the spoiled wheel. Except if i'm lucky to find a perfect 355 movement not too expansive... :)

Surprised the center wheel was damaged. Strongest gear in the movement as it has not thin tapered pivots

Movement in link is a 344 small second. Look for a sweep second movement

Movement is in beautiful condition, but you can only use some parts with your movement and not the center wheel. Would be a shame to buy one in that condition to break it down for parts.

I sold a similar movement in 2009 for $175.00. Might get the same for dial and movement (case is garbage) if not higher in price

Second is average condition and overpriced (broken setting bridge). Movement like that. I would only pay $75.00 and that would be for the balance and sweep pinion as both are discontinued.

Except for date parts. It shares many of the same parts as your movement

I know what part is broken on my cal 355 : the center wheel. The repairman can replace it with a new one but the price only for the part is 150 euros... So it's no use for me to buy the watch on the first link and the second link is not a good deal. Thanks
