Hi, an listing came up with for a seamaster which I think is from the 1950s. Only limited info were given. I noticed it doesn’t have any stamp or marking on the caseback, and I believe it’s a front loaded case? Another one I found is as below, which has a slightly better condition. Have asked for a photo of the movement and inner side of the caseback have haven’t heard back yet.
Your first example is a redial. There are markings on the back they are just worn badly. The second is in bargain condition but the dial is original looking.
Thanks! Just for my learning, what gave away that the first is a redial? Also did omega make any caseback a with no stamps back then? Thanks
First watch is not a front load case, plain case back is correct. Second watch is a front load case and is missing it's bezel.
Again there are marks on the back of the first watch; SEAMASTER is on the periphery upside down at the top of the picture. Just polished or worn away.
Thanks! Do you think it would be hard to find an original bezel (or an omega matching bezel with the correct look)?
