Hello people, I'm new to the forum so hi.... I have a vintage Omega Seamaster, I'm unsure of the actual model and I'm guessing 60's or maybe 70's. I've done a bit of a search and found similar looking watches but not exactly the same, There's a small scratch on the glass so I'm looking to get that replaced, would you recommend anywhere to get it replaced or just a decent watch smith's ? I've attached a couple of images if anyone can identify the model that would be great, and a rough value of the watch would be nice, It was passed down by a family member, I've no intention of selling but just curious to it's value for insurance maybe. Many thanks guys ....
Thanks very much, sorry, not sure what you mean by refinished dial ? it's been refurbished in some way ?
Ah I see, thanks again for the help. I'll look to get the glass replaced and look forward to wearing it regularly.
The luminous indicators should be small dots next to the applied indices, they shouldn't be placed on the indices They are great watches and capable of being very accurate once serviced
So it's a replacement/fake dial ? Looks very much the same as this one bar the "T" on the Swiss made - all good info, thanks https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-chronometer-cal-751-from-the-early-1970s.7908/
