I just picked this up on a whim whilst up in the north of England. Have I made complete boo boo? I can't decide if the dial is correct as I haven't seen one to compare in steel...

    Your thoughts welcomed..

Correct dial and nice watch. From what I have observed the date chronometer version of this watch is less common than the day date one in stainless steel.

That's SO good to hear from you Mike! I couldn't decide, as the movement is a cal. 564 which is typically used in the Constellation line, and the dial worried me because it was just day and I hadn't seen any of these before. What's the going rate for these Chronometer Seamasters?

About the same for the day date chronometer versions.

Alex the watch looks fine, but not sure about the crystal. You may want to check out if there is a crystal with less optical distortion on the edges.
The fact that this is a chronometer version is a huge plus. This could be your next long term daily wearer.

Kyle had one of these 168.022 caliber 564's. They're nice. I think these were introduced a couple years before the Day/Date 168.023 caliber 751's came.

36mm without crown. Pretty hefty in overall size.

I think I want to put this on mesh. Still haven't found myself a decent one.. Thanks Steve, the crystal is non-omega and pretty beat up so I will have to have the correct crystal fitted to improve the dial/minute track visibility..Really like the overall size, looks bigger than most of my other Omegas :)
