hi all, going to have my 1958 seamaster serviced, the movement is a 501,watch works fine but I feel it would benefit from it as it has not been done for a while.my local watchmender has quoted £125.he has serviced/repaired my grandfathers pocket watch for me and done an excellent job.i am going to let him service the seamaster and am happy to pay his price.out of interest is this price the norm for a vintage watch?.i have to say I enjoy this forum immensely .being a novice collector I post little but read a lot.i have learnt enough to pick out some of the more obvious dodgy vintage watches on the bay, thank you all for sharing your knowledge, cheers greasemonkey
