I have a 2001 Seamaster. When I purchased the watch, I bought a deployment bracelet with clasp #94531803.

The clasp is in pristine condition but the rubber has hardened and I’d like to replace it. It looks like part #97996082 would fit, but it’s Black. Is there a Blue version?

Hey mate, FYI Omega themselves are really good at answering queries like this. I think they still have stock of these, surprisingly, so probably best to order from them. The part number you want is probably 97988082, but usually cheapest and easiest to just let Omega sort it out for you.

Fantastic. Thanks so much. That looks like it’s absolutely correct. I’m in New Zealand so will likely look at offshore listings instead of paying more through the local agent.

Call Swatch Group for your region. They will connect you with the parts department and they can tell you what's available.

BTW - That SMP certainly wasn't a safe queen. 😀

23 years of daily wear. Serviced in 2016 and still +2 secs per day.

You'd be surprised. I'm in Australia and it's been cheaper to buy from Omega here than any overseas listings. I just email them via the website, they contract the nearest boutique, and they give me the direct parts price from Omega. As an example the last part I bought was a link for my Railmaster and it was $70 AUD. The same part was easily over $100 anywhere online that I could find.

Also, for what it's worth, I much prefer the current generation rubber, which does fit the OG Bonds like yours, albeit not perfectly. I did a write up here. But if you like the old style or originality, that's cool too.

Impressive. I dream about having that kind devotion to one watch. But I'm cursed with too many choices!

But I will say my most worn watch the last two years has been my 2531.80 SMP (which was made in 1999).
