I have a Seamaster with a 342 bumper movement which is not working. I believe the mainspring is broken. From reading posts here, it has a gold capped case which is in decent shape with just light scratches. The dial is nice, champagne with a sub seconds.

This is my first Omega and I am wondering weather to have it repaired or sell it on the Bay as is, then buy a working one.

If I decide to repair it, where do I send it? I do not have a good local option. I see some of you use Govberg and others have sent it to a guy in Canada.

What can I expect to spend to have it overhauled and the spring replaced....ballpark?
