Seamaster reference

Hello guys,

I found a Seamaster without the caseback. So I don't have the reference. I'm away for holidays and don't have the big book. Can someone help? I wonder if it's worth looking for a caseback.

Nice looking watch.
I’d opt for a generic caseback unless and until a correct one turns up.
It’ll make a nice wearer and, let’s face it (sorry about the pun) who looks at the caseback when it’s being worn

That's what I was thinking of. There are some transparent ones on ebay. I also have to change the crystal too. Wouls anyone of you check the ref? I don't have my documentation with me...
I think I'm going to keep it for the time being. The dial is mint and the case will need little cleaning.
