Seamaster ref.145.020 "Soccer Time" Bracelet or Leather Band Recommendations?

Hi, new to the forum and also vintage Omega ownership. I recently acquired a Seamaster Ref 145.020 "Soccer Time" circa late 60s. Not loving the rubber band with contrast red stitch it came with. Tried searching around for an original steel 22mm bracelet however they seem quite elusive.

Any suggestions for leather band alternatives - color, stitching etc (pics would be great)?
Do any modern steel bracelet(s) fit this case i.e. Planet Ocean 22mm OEM?

    Thanks!

I have two of them, and think the Soccer Timer is really a watch which looks the best on the steel bracelet...

You can look at the 1117 with 549 Endlinks, or the 1170 bracelet.

The 549 Endlinks are still available at the Omega service centers so dont buy them for too Much money on EBay..

I was afraid you were going to say that :(. Can you share some pics of your soccer timers?

    That sounds interesting.

Very nice watch, congrats! Band choice is a tough one and very personal. Here is mine on a relatively thick leather band with black stitching and a standard chrome Omega clasp. Less sporty perhaps, but elegant in my view.

I wear mine on a shark mesh
Is just a bit difficult to adapt length at first by cutting the excess but once done it is very confortable and sporty. 0AD10AB2-1AB4-4986-B75E-CF62F8F8564B.jpeg
