Pleased to share the newest and possibly rarest addition to my collection. A brilliant early 50s ref. 14324 Seamaster with hooded lugs.

The plan is to pair it with a gold bracelet that is as close to what would have been available from the factory when the watch was purchased. I’ve found three examples of the reference with different bracelets depicted. One is a thin Milanese style bracelet, the other appears to be a grand luxe bracelet and the one cataloged is on a thicker weave pattern bracelet.

Could the bracelet being offered with the following watch be the bracelet that was originally paired with a ref. 14324 Seamaster (as depicted in the cataloged photo)? The seller claims the bracelet is original but I don’t see any Omega markings.

I would go for the weave pattern.
The bracelet in your last photo is not original Omega as you supposed already.
BTW the price he is asking is absurd given the redial etc.

Thanks @mac_omega - I don’t think I’ve ever seen the type of weave bracelet that is shown in the catalogue. Hopefully one will pop up for sale somewhere with gold prices being what they are currently.
