My everyday watch is a 10 year old Seamaster 300 Quartz. I noticed recently that the quick set hour feature has stopped working. In the 10 years the watch has had 2 battery changes plus reseals but never a full service as it keeps perfect time. Should I just keep wearing it and wind the hours forward or back when travelling or is this a sign to get a full service. Many thanks in advance.

I think your question answers itself. If a standard function such as the quick set date isn't working any longer, I assume that something inside the movement has failed or broken. If so, then it may cause further problems if it's not addressed. Given that you've never had the watch serviced in full, it looks like now would be a good time to do so. Our good friend @Archer may be able to address the specific technical issues at hand, if he's available.
