Hello all. I was offered this watch locally. It looked authentic to me but I know that modern fakes can be quite persuasive. Does anyone see any red flags on this one? Do you all have any guesses on value?

Looks legit. How much I'd pay would depend on whether they had the full documents (manual, pictogram card, chronometer cert card, warranty card). With all the docs and boxes, I'd probably ask for about $1500 without the steel bracelet. If they don't have the docs, I'd probably ask for some more discount.

Would help to see pics of the caseback and especially the movement, if those are available. No red flags I can see based on what you’ve already posted. But no one here can give you a 100% guarantee.

IMO having papers, etc won’t add any value here, unless they’re warranty papers from a recent service (especially one by Omega). The original warranty is going to be way expired, and this isn’t a highly collectible piece, especially without the original bracelet.

If the watch has had a service in the last few years, that might add some value; otherwise you may need to take the lack of one as a potential cost. If the watch has never been serviced (to the seller’s knowledge, anyway), then it’s going to be very (over)due for one, and that will set you back at least a few hundred. Factor in that and the absence of the (valuable) bracelet as you’re making your decision. I wouldn’t pay more than 1k US for this.

As Mr Annapolis said, "papers" aren't really of value here and the box is likely just the old red box that tends to deteriorate and can be replaced. I personally don't worry about the box unless its a limited edition or special release etc, though its nice to have. looks like a 2531.80.00 (please correct if I am wrong here) with an aftermarket or at least non standard strap? If it had the original bracelet id be fine with up to 2k for perm collection (this is mid range for various markets), but with no bracelet, 1200-1400 maybe, since I would be putting a strap on it anyway. You arent likely to find another head only that frequently, which is what i would consider this since this strap doesnt do it for me. All that being said, if you really like it, just go for it. Its a great watch.

note If this is an original option strap maybe that changes things. Please correct me.

It is not original. The 2531.80 had the option of a blue rubber strap, but it was very different as you can see:
