Hope I’m not starting a flame war, but which model do you prefer - outgoing or the new 2018 - and why? I went for the 2017 with the black dial. Just looks classier to me than the new model. Not a fan of the new wave dial, the “toothpaste cap” HE valve or the exhibition caseback. I would have liked the calibre 8800 movement though. Oh well, can’t have everything.
I prefer the older ceramic dial; doesn't seem quite as busy to me. But the new model is still beautiful!
I have picked the new one. I wanted to own the very latest model with the latest and most advanced technology.
I have this one too, and yes, like the idea of the new movement, but the HE carbuncle and glass back are deal breakers for me. Shame, really, as there are fewer and fewer divers in the range I would buy as a result.
